Chiswick House

Located in the Turnham Green Conservation area, this house was full of character such as the stairs that we restored and kept, but was tired, lacking of natural light, practicality and storage. The clients fell in love with the location and the potential but appointed EMR to deliver a home that was embracing their way of life as well as design taste. 

We succesfully obtained planning for the basement and rear extension, and went back to brick to all the rooms have a purpose and get used daily by this family, 

The Ground floor is full of critall glazing to let the light travel and focus on the beautiful garden. There is a double living room, a music room/office, a shower room/cloackroom, a kicthen with walk in pantry. In the basement, a media/games room, a loo, a gym, a sauna/shower room, a utility and a plant room. Upstairs we have created 6 bedrooms, one is used as an office, 3 bathrooms (one en-suite)and a walk in dressing room for the master. 

The House is now practical, full of light and a timeless beauty.
