Daisy Lane

This house was initially 130sqm and has been extended to 315sqm including the studio. The goal has been to work on light, living/social space and accomodate great storage and 5 bedrooms for a family of 6 plus an au pair.

The basement was the main focus, in order to integrate it to the rest of the house. The decision has been made to reduce the size of the kitchen to allow the stairs to have a rooflight above and bring a huge amount of natural light,

As the main basement room is all open space (65sqm), the sunken area allows to make a natual definitions of areas.

All the furniture was designed bespoke and made in India by Emilie's brother.
