Eel Brook House 1 – Fulham

Nestled on one of the most beautiful streets in the Eel Brook Conservation Area, this home was carefully resurrected by EMR from the bones of a formerly constrained Victorian terraced house. After a full back-to-brick renovation, we introduced an additional c. 50 m² through a loft, POD and rear kitchen extension — all while rethinking the layout so that every room serves the life of the family.

Light is at the heart of the design. Crittall glazing, rooflights and open circulation now allow daylight to penetrate deep into the plan. The ground floor unfolds through a double living room, a kitchen with walk-in pantry, a utility room, and a guest WC. In the loft and POD, a media room and additional office space provide flexibility and delight. Upstairs, five double bedrooms await (including a principal with walk-in dressing and en-suite), supported by four bathrooms.

This is a home where family life flows naturally, suffused with daylight and coherence. The narrative is one of transformation — from a compartmentalised Victorian shell to a modern, luxurious, light-filled family home in Fulham.
