Felden House – Fulham

On one of Fulham’s most sought-after streets, EMR Architecture transformed Felden House into a contemporary family home infused with Parisian character. The clients wanted a design that combined modern functionality with touches reminiscent of their time in Paris, and the result is a house filled with personality, texture and refined detail.

The layout was reconfigured to improve flow and storage, introducing a new utility room at first-floor level as well as a dressing room and en-suite bathroom for the principal suite. Each change was carefully planned to enhance both practicality and comfort for family living.

The kitchen is the heart of the house, designed with an industrial edge. Resin concrete floors, reclaimed yellow brickwork, stainless steel worktops and a raw wood bar create a striking material palette that is robust yet stylish. A sliding Crittall-effect door separates the two main living spaces, providing flexibility while adding bold architectural character.

Upstairs, the loft has been transformed into a media room, providing a cosy and versatile retreat. The combination of vintage chevron flooring, Parisian-style panelling and modern industrial details ensures that Felden House feels both contemporary and timeless, elegant yet practical.
