FRENCH TOUCH HOUSE
French Touch house is another prime example of a rebirth of a residential Victorian property.
Located in the Peterborough Conservation area in Fulham, the building is a corner house with a central staircase which is quite unusal in this area and immediadelty inspired us. Our brief at EMR Architecture was to transform this imposing family home into a larger, more practical space for a family life but also including Interior Design in the property.
We have not only challenged ourselves on the overall vision, but we have worked hard on connecting the spaces and light and convinced the clients that it was the right choice to extend the GF and move the kitchen originally located in the basement on that level.
Constantly working on bringing light into the habitable spaces, personalised spatial design to the clients’ needs, high quality of materials and intense project management has permitted to deliver this fabulous family home. Thanks to our clients embracing Emilie's style this house is the most "french" one we ever did !
